FemTech Company, Forth, Innovation In Health Award Finalist

Forth have been nominated in the category of Innovation in Health Tech at the LaingBuisson Awards 2022 for their ground-breaking female hormone mapping product MyFORM®.

The company has been focused on addressing health issues faced by women due to the gender health gap and a lack of investment in key areas of female health – particularly hormone health.

MyFORM® was created to address the shortcomings of current tests which only measure hormones on a single day. It uses blood analysis combined with AI to map 4 key female hormones across a woman’s entire menstrual cycle – giving much deeper insight into the complex female hormone network.

The development of MyFORM® is part of the company’s mission to empower women to become experts on their own body through scientific knowledge and understanding.

MyFORM® – Advancing Women’s Hormone Health

 MyFORM® is a ground breaking test which maps how a woman’s key hormones fluctuate throughout her entire cycle rather than on a single day, which is current clinical practice.

The finger prick home test, uses two samples of blood taken on day 14 and day 21 of a woman’s menstrual cycle. The blood samples are analysed to measure the levels of the four key female hormones – follicle stimulating hormone, luteinising hormone, oestradiol, and progesterone.

The 8 data points are combined with Forth’s proprietary AI algorithm to predict how each hormone fluctuates across a woman’s individual cycle length.

It also provides women with an ovarian responsiveness score (FORM), indicating how well their ovaries are functioning.

LaingBuisson Awards

The LaingBuisson Awards are held annually and aim to recognise excellence across several industries. From innovation awards to honouring advisors and clinical services, the ceremony is an extremely prestigious event that has been running for 17 years.

The ceremony and dinner are set to take place on Thursday 17th November, at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge Hotel in London.
