Forth Puts Quality First By Achieving ISO 13485 Accreditation

Forth are pleased to announce that they have achieved ISO13485 accreditation, further cementing their commitment to safety and quality in the delivery of their service.

ISO 13485 certification means Forth has demonstrated its ability to meet the comprehensive quality management system requirements, meeting the regulations, responsibilities and commitment to the safety and quality of medical devices.

ISO 13485 is derived from the internationally recognised ISO 9000 quality management system series and ensures that Forth provides consistent design, development, production, installation, delivery, and disposal of medical devices that are safe for the intended purpose.

Forth founder and CEO, Sarah Bolt explains ‘We are thrilled to have received this accreditation which recognises the quality and safety of the service we offer. Ensuring our service is of the highest standard and meets the stringent safety requirements is paramount and I’m proud to be able to demonstrate our commitment through this accreditation’.

‘Given the rise in companies offering testing services, since the start of the pandemic, it’s more important than ever to give customers the peace of mind that they are buying form a reputable company and will receive the highest standard in terms of quality and safety.’, says Sarah.

Founded in 2016, Forth was one of the first companies in the UK to enable people to track their key internal biomarkers for good health.  Despite the challenges of 2020 the company has continued to go from strength to strength, seeing strong year on year growth as the market expands.

‘Although we are not quite free of the challenges of Covid-19, I’m really excited for the year ahead’, explains Sarah, ‘we’ve got a great new, innovative female health product in the pipeline which will really help to empower women when it comes to taking control of their health. Female health is a very underinvested area, with many women going undiagnosed or misdiagnosed for years due to the inequality within healthcare provision and research. As a female led business, I’m proud to be supporting women’s health with our new product’.
